Three Important Relationships

Today’s Scripture

“I have written your name on the palms of my hands!” (Isaiah 49:16).

In our reading today, we see God as a loving mother with comfort and reassurance of his love and protection. Three of the chapters we read today have a deeper meaning and reveal three most important relationships of the Messiah: to the Gentiles (ch 49), to the Father (ch 50), and to Israel (ch 52).

 Gentiles! See here the calling and commissioning of Jesus your Messiah to be a light unto you and to bring to you your salvation (Isaiah 49:6)!
