Three Disciplines in Joseph

Today’s Scripture “So when the Ishmaelites, who were Midianite traders, came by, Joseph’s brothers pulled him out of the cistern and sold him to them for twenty pieces of silver. And the traders took him to Egypt” (Genesis 37:28).

  Jacob’s life parallels Joseph’s life in many ways. Today, we discuss these similarities and delve further into three disciplines God was teaching Joseph to instruct him in his life. Both men, at times in their lives, thought everything was working against them when everything was working for them.
