The Millennial Temple

Today’s Scripture: September 4

“The glory of the Lord came into the Temple through the east gateway” (Ezekiel 43:4).

In Ezekiel’s third vision of the throne chariot, God comes into the Temple through the eastern gate. Many scholars disagree whether this will be a literal third temple or simply a symbolic picture of God dwelling with His people.

God Himself declares this Temple to be the place of His throne where He will dwell. In this prophecy, we see God fulfilling everything He said He would do through the prophets of old. He will restore Israel to the land, He intends to dwell with them and wants to be worshipped in a holy way by a holy people. See here a picture foretelling the fulfillment of all these things!
