“Then they put their hands over their ears and began shouting. They rushed at him and dragged him out of the city and began to stone him” (Acts 7:57-58).
To Mind (key point): Stephen, the first Christian martyr, was stoned by the Jewish religious leaders after delivering a poignant and powerful message testifying Christ. This infuriated the hearers and resulted in his death.
To Bind (apply to our lives): Stephen’s message makes a point that there is always progress and change in God’s program. If God is in the business of “making change,” maybe some change going on in your life right now is ordained and directed by God?
