The Fate of the King of Babylon

Today’s Scripture “The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has called this army together. They come from distant countries, from beyond the farthest horizons” (Isaiah 13:4-5).

  From the beginning, Babylon has been characterized as a place of rebellion against God and its king has been portrayed as the devil himself.

  Isaiah 14 paints a humbling picture of the fate of the devil after the last battle, once Jesus comes again and restrains him during the thousand year reign of peace.
