The Excellence of the Divine Word

Today’s Scripture

“Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect your decrees!” (Psalm 119:5

This Psalm is an acrostic, meaning each of the 22 stanzas contain 8 verses that begin with the same Hebrew letter!

 These 22 sections seem to fall into three groups of seven, followed by a last section as an appendix. Take a step back today and read how the Word of God – the Bible you hold in your hands – has the power for blessing, cleansing, knowledge, reviving, establishing, testimony, comfort, relationship, suffering, revival, waiting, stability, wisdom, guidance, holiness, prayer, guidance, perseverance, hope, overcoming and rest.
