The Coming of Global Judgment

Today’s Scripture “In that day the Lord will punish the gods in the heavens and the proud rulers of the nations on earth” (Isaiah 24:21).
Today’s reading opens with global judgment on the earth, a picture of the Day of the Lord, when God delivers wrath against the nations and punishes the proud (Isaiah 24:21). Yet, even in the midst of all this, a believing remnant will be saved who live through the Day of the Lord. They sing a song of praise (Isaiah 25:1-12).
One day to come, Israel will acknowledge Jesus as Lord and enter into peace with Him as their king.
