The Call to Discipleship

Today’s Scripture “Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people! And they left their nets at once and followed him” (Mark 1:17).
The ministry of Jesus begins once John the Baptist is imprisoned. Five of the disciples had been following Jesus for some time – months perhaps – before his call to them on the shore. Discipleship is an expected norm for all who believe in the gospel. How seriously are you taking the call to become a disciple – and to make disciples in others?
