No One Like Him

Today’s Scripture: December 13 “God wants everyone to be saved… For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity – the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone” (1 Timothy 2:3-6).

  Paul considered Timothy a “son in the faith.” In Philippians we learned that there was no one like him in Paul’s life (Phil 2:20). Paul wrote this letter to Timothy to encourage him as he led the church in Ephesus.

  Christians must be careful not to let pagan/worldly practices set their fashions, and especially women, who can tend to overemphasize the importance of certain clothes and adornments. Dress modestly and adorn yourselves with good deeds.
