Love Without Question

“In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God” (Job 1:22).
To Find (look for):
What does this passage tell us about the man called Job?
What tragedy happens to Job?
To Mind (key point): Job was a man with a right relationship with God who refused to curse God when tragedy happened. Instead, he mourned his loss and asked God for answers to his questions. This proved to be a test as to whether his love for God depended on the blessings he received from Him.
To Bind (apply to our lives): Job’s response of consistent praise demonstrated a desire to love God through all things. Our afflictions (troubled times) shouldn’t divert us from loving God, but move us closer to the heart of God. Is your devotion based on what He does for you or on Who He is to you?
