Getting Your Attention

Today’s Scripture “Don’t you realize that I was there in spirit when Naaman stepped down from his chariot to meet you?” (2 Kings 5:26).

  Many of the stories we read today in 2 Kings are stories of God’s attempt to get the people’s attention. Time after time, He sends prophets to preach, armies to attack and leaders to lead. God provided food for the people in a remarkable way (2 Kings 7:1) and he sent angels with flaming horses and chariots to defend the Lord’s people (2 Kings 6:17).

  The Lord will go to remarkable lengths to get our attention. We have the privledge of going before the Lord in prayer taking to him any and all of our concerns. Your God stands ready, willing and able to help you. What does it take for the Lord to get your attention?
