“Stay here in this land. If you do, I will build you up… Do not fear the king of Babylon anymore, for I am with you” (Jeremiah 42:10-11).

Jeremiah was freed from prison by Nebuchadnezzar when the siege came, yet he was caught up with a group led by guerrilla leaders traveling to Egypt against the Lord’s wishes.
Despite a clear warning from the Lord through Jeremiah, the people persisted stubbornly in their worship of idols, which ended in their spiritual death. Throughout history, people have neglected the Word of God. How are you doing obeying its truths?
