Today’s Scripture: September 9 “Then the local residents tried to discourage and frighten the people of Judah to keep them from their work” (Ezra 4:4).
Once the people returned to Jerusalem, they began rebuilding the Temple, a project that took 21 years.
The people were resolute and unified in their desire to rebuild the Temple. It was, after all, a necessity if they were going to live in covenant with God.
What are you resolute towards in your life? Put another way, what is it that you should be more resolute about?
