Today’s Scripture: December 12 “Don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says” (James 1:22).
Jesus’ brother, James, was the eldest of all the children conceived by Joseph and Mary. While his letter seems somewhat contradictory to the teachings of Paul, it beautifully complements the message of faith that Paul emphasizes in his letters. James reminds us that faith without works is dead.
