“Who but God goes up to heaven and comes back down… What is his name – and his son’s name?” (Proverbs 30:4).
To Find (look for):
Who do you suppose this proverb is referring to in verse 4 (Proverbs 30:4)?
Who taught King Lemuel (the author of Proverbs 31) this wisdom (Proverbs 31:1)?
To Mind (key point): The authors of these Proverbs are somewhat obscure and little is known about them. Believed to be from Massa and perhaps descendants of Ishmael, they speak wise sayings about God, man and woman alike.
To Bind (apply to our lives): In the famous Proverb 31, we see the depiction of a wife of noble character. The final verdict declares the housewife (whether she works additionally outside the home or primarily inside the home) due praise, for the role of wife and mother is deserving of high honor.
