A Christ-like Prophet

Today’s Scripture “Elisha stretched himself out again on the (dead) child. This time the (dead) boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes” (2 Kings 4:35)!

  Elijah was a prophet taken to heaven in 848 BC – alive – in a whirlwind. Elisha, his disciple of 7-8 (maybe even 10) years, served the LORD for half a decade as prophet too. These men shared a commitment to the Most High God, yet were very different people in their personality.

  Some have likened these two prophets to two famous New Testament prophets. Do you know who?
